Children's day speech

       Good morning to all.Today I would like to speak a few words about children's day.First of all ,I wish all my friends a very happy Children's day.

 

    Today is 14th November and this day is celebrated as children's day in all over India since 1964.It is the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru,who was the first Prime Minister of India.

 

   He was a great freedom fighter and also a very good writer.He is known as the architect of Modern India.He was born on 14th November 1889 in Allahabad. 

 

    Jawaharlal Nehru loved children very much.He always like to be with children.Children fondly called him Chacha Nehru.The future of the country depends on children.

 

    Children are considered as the building blocks of the strong India.Children's day is celebrated with lots of fun and activities in almost all schools in India.Children's day is a very happy day for children.This day reminds everyone that children should be provided with better childhood and protected from all harms.
