 Perimeter = 2 x (length + breadth)

 

 

 2 x (length + breadth) = 24

 

 

length + breadth = 12

 

 

8 + breadth = 12

 12 - 8 = 4cm

3.The perimeter of a triangle shaped vegetable garden  is 50 meter.Two of its sides are 20 meter and 18 meter long.Find the length of the third side?

 

 

 

 Perimeter = 50 meter

 

 

Length of the third side = 

50 - (20 + 18)

 

 

= 50 - 38

 

= 12 meter

4.The perimeter of a square shaped vegetable garden is 100 meter.Find the length of one side?

 

 

Perimeter = 100 meter
