Moon Expedition of India


India’s Moon expedition is called Chandrayaan, 



*The first mission, Chandrayaan-1, was launched in 2008. It helped scientists find water on the Moon for the first time.

*The third mission, Chandrayaan-3, was launched in 2023, and it made India the first country to land near the Moon’s south pole.




 

How Does the Surface of the Moon Look Like?


The surface of the Moon looks rough .It has many hills, deep holes called craters, and rocks all around.

There is no air or water on the Moon, so everything looks dry and dusty.

When we see the Moon from Earth, the bright parts are its high lands, and the dark spots are flat plains.
