Odd numbers

 

Odd numbers are whole numbers that cannot be divided exactly into pairs.

 

(Odd numbers are defined as any number which cannot be divided by two.)

 

Odd numbers end with 1,3,5,7,9

 

Example : 57,869,5,9873

 

 

 

Even numbers

 

Even numbers are whole numbers that can be divided by two.

 

(Even numbers can be divided exactly into pairs)

 

Even numbers end with 0,2,4,6,8

 

Example : 34,458,2,3560
