By selling milk and through plantain cultivation Malavika's family earned Rs 9800 in December.They got Rs 1500 more through plantain cultivation than by selling milk.Then how much money did they earn by selling milk?And how much did they earn through cultivation?

 

 

Total money they earned by selling milk and through plantain cultivation = 9800

 

 

Money they earned through plantain cultivation =Money earned by selling milk+ 1500

 

9800 - 1500 = 8300

 

 

Half of 8300 = Half of 8000 + Half of 300

 

 

4000 + 150 = 4150

 

 

Money earned by selling milk = 4150

 

 

 

Money they earned through plantain cultivation  :

 

4150 + 1500 = 5650

 

 

 

A notebook and a pen together costs 17 rupees.Notebook costs 7 rupees  more than pen.Find out the cost of notebook and pen ?

Cost of notebook =
cost of pen+7 rupees
